To Terradillos de Los Templiarios

A challenging day. The first 17 km there were I services. No towns, no bathrooms.

The people here really do support pilgrims and try to make the experience better and safer. I noticed that they have planted shade trees on the side of the path that gets afternoon sun. Also, there picnic tables along the way, so you stop and sit for a bit.

Listen to all this bird song!
I saw a row of lavender bushes, that made me think of home.

Yay! A village!

And a rest stop with gluten free cookies😄
My stop tonight is at Terradillos de Los Temparios. This area was home to many Templar Knights. Now there are not even any signs that they were here. The Albergue that I am staying at is named after the last Templar Knight leader.
